You need to be more specific though. Is your running rigging stock? Led aft? Many boats are different.

My running rig is standard. More concerned about diameter. I am buying 600' of line. Just want to make sure of the diameter.
I'm sure by now you've found the "other" Catalina 30 websites, like www.catalina30.com, which usually have all the manuals. They made over 6,000 of these fine boats, and the internet is full of information about them. Almost all of those websites have manuals for that boat, including the all-mportant running rigging specs. Good luck.

LP, while it is a personal choice, generally halyards are not the same size as sheets. You frequently handle the sheets so they tend to be a bigger diameter to give the crew a better hand feel. Halyards are used to raise and lower sails then tie them off till finished sailing. They often are smaller diameter based on the sheeves in the mast and desire to reduce weightin the mast.
