I have a 1978 Hunter Cherubini 33, and I want to install sheet bags to keep the cockpit cleaned up. I would appreciate it if anyone out there can give me any tips on where to get the best deal.

I have not done it myself, yet, but believe these are pretty easy to make. Don Casey has a really good book Canvaswork and Sail Repair that includes instructions for this and much more. I bought a roll of sunbrella fabric on e-bay and this is one of the projects I have planned. Fair Winds

Bags are the easiest sewing

project you can tackle. Cut the legs off a pair of jeans below the holes in the knees turn a hem in the cut edge and sew one end closed. Sew a piece of velcro to the top and stick a matching piece where you want the bag to hang.

As an alternative to bags consider what I did...

to minimize cockpit clutter. Assuming that you have a dodger... Terry http://www.sailboatowners.com/upload/display.tpl?folder=73327668647&fno=17
