The true pronunciation of this name (excluding it's anglo-american pronunciation) is "Care-oo-beenie" like the baroque composer.

Think Mark is wrong.

I thought JC II would have given us the straight scoop by now. But I can tell you that the people at the Hunter plant pronounce it as I do and as Yehudi does, "chair" not "Care". In Ohio we say "chair-a-BEANe". Or is that my Pittsburgh accent? When I was on a new Cherubini in Annapolis I am pretty sure they pronounced it that way. But I don't know who I was speaking with there.
