Just got "Java" back on Friday and was talking to the mechanic who worked on the boat. He stated that Hunter has a habit of installing strut bolts that are to long. He had to replace the exhaust hose that passes just over these bolts on the starboard side. One of the bolts was hitting and chaffing the exhaust hose and I had about another month or so before it wore through. Check yours NOW..... *yks Hunter Marine has been notified plus my dealer about this. Jim S/V Java

Opps more info - location -- in wrong forum

On the H356, state room, fold your bed over back to the stern and you will see four openings. From starboard to port it will be; hot water tank, fuel tank and shaft alleyway. The bolts for holding on the shaft strut and shaft are located here plus the exhaust hose from the engine is strap attached to the alleyway wall. The hose passes just over the bolts and could be touching depends on the bolt length and how they attached the exhaust hose. Jim S/V Java
