SG200 Question

I just installed my Balmar SG200 and Pro Charge Ultra battery charger that I got from Maine Sail. Everything was very straightforward to install and works great, I am very excited to see them in action this summer!

I'm assuming the answer to this question is no, but the cable that goes from the display to the shunt is VERY long. Can I cut and splice the cable to a shorter length or do I just have to live with finding a place to hide a huge bundle of excess cable?

I am surprised that you have not received any responses to your post yet. My guess is that it would be okay to shorten the cable by splicing. But I would confirm this by either calling or emailing Balmar. I have found their customer service to be very responsive. Or alternatively you could repost your question here:
