I found water and 2 cracks (one two-half inches long the other smaller) under the starboard sink cabinet area that looks like the top side of the ballast tank area. Epoxy stick saved the day and stopped the leaks. The next day I found water and a fresh 3-inch crack on the port side under the bunk storage area that also looks like the top part of the ballast tank. I had a robust friend of my wife's onboard for 2 days and went through some moderate chop 1 day on the lake. Prior to this there were no cracks or any water coming into the boat. The baot is a 2003 260 that is in great shape. My question is did this fat lady damage my boat from her weight? Has anyone else experienced 3 cracks in 2 days? Can I repair the cracks myself with fiberglass and will I get new cracks.. Thanks all I am really questioning my selection of boat.

Heavy Bagage

Cracked me up, no pun intended. The question I'd ask is can you get behind the cracks? If so, lay up some glass and re-enforce the areas that you think are to thin. I'm sure the boat is fine, they all seem to have their weaker points, that need fixing. Think their all designed that way.. Also get some gel coat and experiment with coloring. Takes a little practice, but you can come pretty close to matching.
