Serial Number Datum

Have seen information, but misplaced it regarding the information on the serial number. For instance, my 272 is SURL0135G687. I believe that the 135 is the number of the hull of the 272 series. and the 87 is the year. G is for July , but the 6 following the G and the SURL, don't remember. ThanksWayward Wind
