So I am looking for a boat upgrade and scouring the usual listings. Then it occurred to me, maybe someone here has thought about selling, but not quite taken the step yet.

If this is you, I am looking for a well equipped, clean boat between 30-36' in length 1980+. Must be within 2 days of Newburgh on the Hudson (NY). Budget is 28k.

There are a few boats in that range that stand out to me...


I know this boat and Canard was always fairly well taken care of. Don't know current condition but the Pearson 303 is a good boat. Not the fastest boat, but a decent boat with nice lines..

This boat stands out to me (but don't know condition). The CS-30 is a very, very, very well built boat that performs pretty darn well..

The Catalina 30 is a great boat and a 1990 gets you well beyond the plywood in the keel stub, which ended in 1988. It also gets you into a MK-II which had some excellent improvements over the MK-I. This one is also the tall rig..
