Sell in Michigan or Florida?

I have a 1985 MacGregor 25 that i would like to sell, and I want to try to get the best price I can for it. I'm in Florida for a bit, but the boat's in Michigan. Which of these two bad economies should I try to sell it in, or somewhere in the middle? Is there some broker I could leave it with to do it? I also have some upgrades, like a norcold fridge, 2 300 watt solar panels, and a huge battery bank. Should I sell these separately or as part of the package? What makes the most sense? Thanks, wise people, for your thoughts.

If you're willing to tow it anyway, list it in both places. Your best bet for a quick sale with best return is Ebay. You can also list locally in all points between on craigslist with a link to your Ebay ad.

I'd say MI will get the highest price... in another 5 months.
W/I FLA, I think tampa, orlando will get a better price than miami area.

ebay, craigslist, boat trader, (here of course).

actually, here and other macgregor specific boards should get you the highest values, since buyers are already looking at mac's.

-The way I look at is a mac is a small boat for Florida, but a big boat for lakes.... people will pay more for a big boat.
