Would a self tacking jib on a track be a design improvement for the H260 as far as ease of sailing? Are there other considerations that might make it undesirable?
It might as long as it was on a traveler and not on a boom. I think a boom would be too much gear on a small deck. The sail would need to be cut so the clew missed the mast and that reduces sail area.
