I am proposing to build a SIMPLE self tacking rig for the 260 which already has a roller reefing system. I am considering an articulated joint to the forestay fixing plate and a lightweight boom up to the clew of the sail. From about 2/3 of the way along the boom will be fitted a pulley system down to the mast step, Has anyone done this or got any good ideas? Thanks
