I am considering installing a radar scanner in a Catalina 310. I was contemplating a mast mounted scanner but the mast went up and the boat launched before it could be done. I am looking at using a stern post or backsstay mounted self-levelling mount with pole. I would appreciate feedback from anyone that has installed this type of mount on a split backstay.
