My self furling main works like a charm. In and out on all but thought command it's so easy. Except for one problem. The S hook which holds the main tack flops down at about a 45 degree angle so when I need to furl it, the hook hits the side of the mast. When I try to furl it, the S hook hits the side of the mast and won't allow the drum to turn. I have to go forward and move the hook so its vertical to the mast. Obviously, the logical thought is to tighten up the hook so it remains vertical or use stainless wire to keep the hook vertical. However, it appears to be designed so, when unfurled, the hook is at 45 degrees to the mast/boom. Anybody have any similar experience or ideas? ThanksRick EvansKemah, Texas
