selden/proctor masts

When did the vega change from the proctor to selden rigs? Was it at
the intoduction of the type III?

Between late Series II and Series III, I'm sure Vega owners will let you know. I reckon about 1975-6

selden rig. Just curious.

I was just reading their blog today, and I believe that the boat was
dismasted and lost its rigging, and so the spars are new/aftermarket.

Could be wrong, but I think I've already met my quota for the year.
