I have a Hunter 380 with a Selden Deck stepped Furling mast. It has a T Base plate. Should there be pins through the heel of the mast to the base plate? There doesn't seem to be any way that the base of the mast is secured from moving fore and aft. The mast sits aboiut 1" forward of being centered over the base plate.
