Anyone know the best way to tie seizing wire to shroud? Do you just run it through the spreader hole then around shroud and wind it tight? How tight?

At the end of your spreader tip there is possibly two holes either side of the cap shroud.just pass the seizing wire through each hole either side of the shroud so that the shroud stays in its groove and twist to tighten. the shroud should be held captive in the centre but not that tight that it can,t move or slideup and down.

You do not want to restrict movement of the shroud as it stretches and relaxes. It needs to slide through the spreader tip. If you adjust the rigging, the shroud wire has to stretch over it's entire length- not just the upper or lower portion. Ditto that there should be two holes up there.
