Seeking J/30 trailer

I'm looking for a used trailer - preferably in or near southern Wisconsin - for my recently purchased J/30. I have a cradle and am considering welding it to a flatbed trailer for a short haul from Lake Mendota in Madison to a local barn this fall. Any thoughts?

I might bolt it to the trailer rather than weld it. It would be a lot easier to remove and should be as strong as you'd need. Well, unless you are making that a permanent trailer for your boat.

I'd also look carefully at how you are strapping the boat to the trailer.

It's a bit wide - more than 11'. If you don't get a permit make sure the lights work if you go at night.

Nice catch. I didn't look at the width... At least it's under 12 feet wide...
