Hi, I need to change the engine in the Catalina 30 that I sometimes race. I have only limited experience on working on boats and would appreciate if you could help me in any of this areas by comments or links. She currently runs on a 30y old 10hp Yanmar. The owner wants to get a new 18hp to beat the currents and be safe. 1- Choosing the right new engine (size and brand) 2- Taking out the old engine 3- Finding and setting the right mounts 4- Installing the new engine As you see I need it all.
