There have been two excellent anchor reviews in Practical Sailor over the past two years, based upon different bottom types. After two dragging incidents over the past two years, I took the advice of local mariners and purchased a 33 lb Simpson Lawrence for my H31. So for, no dragging, and it sets very well. However, I keep it in a bow roller. I have too much line and chain to put it in the locker.
