Perhaps another silly question. I have a 1988 Catalina 22. Storing the primary anchor is easy enough in the forward anchor locker. As I prepare to head out this weekend, I am trying to determine the best method of storing a secondary anchor. What have some of you done? Do you simply coil the anchor line and store it and the anchor somewhere or do you keep line and/or anchor in something? The simplist option seems to be to simply coil the line and store anchor and line in the bottom of the cockpit battery compartment. I do not think the weight location will be a concern for me and my family as we simply enjoy the day. I would like something that is safe, efficient, and easily accessible.
