I'm going to be working the Seattle Boat Show this weekend at Shilshole so maybe some of you Seattle folks can drop by

More a power boat show...

LaDonna, I was at the show at Shilshole and was disappointed by the lack of sailboats to look at. I am interested in smaller trailerable boats in the 19-26ft range. Are you familiar with the Lake Union Boats Afloat show scheduled for September? Could I expect to find more boats that I am interested in? Thanks Vicki

Boats Afloat

I do believe the Boats Afloat Show is geared primarily toward sailboats. The show I was at is definitely more power focused but they're trying to change that. The NMTA now has several sailors working there so they're really trying to broaden the focus. LaDonna

Trailerables

The boats afloat show usually has mostly sail and power boats 30 ft and up, new and used. But they also usually have the 17', 21’, and maybe 26' Hunters. I've also seen the Pacific Seacraft 25' there, and a melges 24 if you got the bucks and adrenaline. LaDonna, sorry I missed you at the Seattle Boat Show, you must have been off duty when I was there. My favorite exhibit was the Port of Seattle booth. I was given another floating key chain for my collection, and a couple of $10 discount coupons for the Shileshole and Bell street guest moorage. And of course I always enjoy looking at the older used sailboats.
