Stumped
You have me stumbed on this one. Normally, intermittent backlighting would be related to a local voltage drop causing the last few instruments in a series to spontaneously restart. The way to troubleshoot this is going to be disconnecting instruments from your series until the problem cures itself. I would suggest sending a fax of the system diagram to Raymarine Technical support at 603 864 4791. Are you using SeaTalk shielded cables throughout the entire system?
