Has anyone addressed the issue of the seat locker bumpers? Most of mine are cracked and some are missing. The gelcoat above the bumpers is all cracked. So, I guess there isn't enough bumpers to distribute the load evenly without cracking the gelcoat. What do you use to replace or is there another better solution? I was thinking maybe of strips of wood between the locker rim and seat to distribute the load more evenly? Thanks

That is where I got mine. Let them know how many you need. If that fails, get them at Home Depot.

Jeff, mine were cracked so I removed one and went to Home Depot, or any home improvement store will do, and bought replacements. Easy fix, just make sure they are not only the right diameter, but the right thickness.

I Made a Different Type

My bumpers were a disaster and the protruding screws were damaging the underside of the locker lids. So:- I cut some 1/8" thick rubber sheet into 2" x 1" pieces. Using contact adhesive I glued these to form a stack about 5 layers thick. I made a stack for each bumper and it only took a few minutes. Next I removed the remains of the old bumpers and glued these stacks over the original screw holes. Then I closed the locker lid and saw how it sat. After this I peeled off a layer at a time until the lid was properly supported and closed correctly. Lastly drove the original self tapper thru each stack and sank the head into the rubber. Problem solved - for ever.
