Wrong. As that 19 was a water ballast built in the 90’s. I introduced and made the decision to cease that boat production.

Hey thanks for responding...yeah I found that manual. And does not apply to my boat. Mine has a weighted keel..
Even though I can't find a way to verify via HIN ..I'm pretty sure it's a 83 19-1 model. I found the "Affordable fantasy" brochure.....but can't track down the manual... keep digging. Any leads let me know!
Thanks

Hi. I recently picked up a hunter 19-1 with the similar setup, swing keel.
Did you have any luck finding anything? I'm not so far.

Many of the older unit manuals and other data was lost when the roof caved due to a severe storm. I do not recall seeing an owner’ Manual on that boat. If you go back to top of all hunter owners, there is reference to older documents. There may be something there but if not, I don’t you will find anything. The first 19 stopped production as a kit boat around 1984

Crazy Dave Condon.............is there another similar non-ballast Hunter around that size that would be applicable as an owner's manual and provide operating guidance for the OP?

And/Or - do you know if the process for stepping the mast, with the helper pole, etc, is the same for this one as the process in the manual referenced above for the water ballast boat?

MacGregor came out with the first mast raising system followed by Hunter for the 23.5 water ballast sailboat. Catalina on their Catalina Sport 22 and 250 (water ballast/keel) came out with same system as that of Hunter; however, later the 250 mast raise system used the trailer winch stand system. I adapted the hunter system to the standard Catalina 22 sailboat

I came on board as a sailboat dealer with hunter in the 1984-1985 era as the first 19 kit boat was no longer available. I know of no manuals on that boat.

You can access the owner manuals for hunter on this site and others too. Also you can check various sites. I am not well versed on that boat for example I do not know if it has a back stay. It would have helped photos of your boat have been posted. In addition I would suggest getting some old experienced local sailors to look at your boat

As for Marlowe-Hunter, there probably is no one left there that would remember that boat discontinued around 1984 and probably all records were lost or destroyed by the storm when the roof caved in
