Has anyone considered sealing the exposed bare wood on the underside of the storage access covers? There are about a dozen on our boat, which consisit of a Melamine-like top on bare luan plywood. The plywood on the underside has not been sealed, and I'm wondering if this could invite additional moisture absorption. If sealing is suggested, is there a product that won't potentially harm the Melamine? Thank you!
