I have a Hunter 31 with a built in water tank it made of fiberglass and the top of the tank is leaking where the top is . I plan to unscrew all the screws and remove the cover of the tank and reaseal . The problem I have is what do I use for a sealer that is non toxic because I use the water for cooking and drinking .

Patrick; Marine-Tex is rated by the FDA for food service equipment. That's what I'd use.

Make a rubber gasket...

Instead of using any sealant. You'll get a better seal without any worries about toxicity.
