Seahood for OD 25

I built a mold to make myself a seahood for my 78 25' centerboarder. I just spent 6 months in the Bahamas and I found that the hood was very useful. It kept the water out of the cabin and made a great spot to lash the dink when making crossings. The one I made is far stronger than necessary( I dropped the mast on it while stepping the mast and had only superfical damage). I have no idea what it would cost to make another one but I'll guess there is $100 of materials if one were to use epoxy and teak rails like I did. If anyone is interested email me at tsquared@infomagic.net. We can discuss the idea of making more of these things.

Hmm..what is a sea hood exactly?

Hmm..like the title says, what is a sea hood exactly? A cover for the boat? A bimimi top like I see advertised around the net? Beats me, I'm new to sailing...(though old to boating). But if its something I didnt know about but will now need to have, I might be interested :) Soon to be 22 owner, Josh
