Seafit Dripless Packing

OK, don't know who I can blame for this one, but I received Seafit Driples packing yesterday to install on boat tomorrow. I read the instructions once quickly and now they are missing. Can anybody who has used this product help out. What I recall is that you lube the shaft with the lubricant, intstall a ring of regular shaft packing, install a ring of the Seafit miracle packing and then another ring of regular packing. There were some instructions about leaks, etc. which are too vague to recall. Any hlp would be appreciated.Thanks

That's funny, because I did the same thing. Luckily I remembered how. You're right. Cut a ring of flax with a diagonal cut, put in the green goo stuff and put another flax ring in. I only used slightly less than one stick of green stuff. Put a good amount of lube on the shaft first. I also put some additional lube inside the nut before the last flax. Seems to work well. Hand tight and no leaks yet. Look in archives under "drip-less packing?" for some questions I posted earlier (2-3Wks ago)
