Can anyone tell me if they recall what the seacocks look like on the 26. I do not see any handle on mine. Since this is a new boat for me I want to check to make sure they work. Any comments would be great. What should I use to lubricate them or should I consider some other option for maintanence.

It is a 1980. It has a little tiny nob on the side (almost like a wind up music box type). I know i could only get my thumb and pointer finger on it.

Im not sure exactly what the newer boats came equipped with mine is a 75 it came stock with molded fiberglass tubes sticking up about a foot from the drains. This puts them above the water line. I removed the hoses that were there and replaced them with heavy duty marine hoses incased with stainless steel. I double clamped them top and bottom and keep a couple of pine plugs handy for emergencies. If your boat is a newer model that came with shutoffs. I would replace them with bronze seacocks Bob 1975 p26w #74 whitecap
