I have a H 33 when we sail for few hours in high inclinations we notice that sea water is accumulated in the bilge. Any idea where it may come from?
Thanks Meir

There are likely a few gallons of water trapped in pools in between the stringers and under the sole. As the boat moves, heels and rocks some of this water will get dislodged and find its way into the bilge. This is one of the reasons for why it may be a futile attemp to try and keep the bilge dry in some boats.

Did hunter put the bildge discharge outlet fitting half way up from waterline at the port beam of your boat too? They put the shower sump discharge on the other side.:lame:

I don't know where abouts the thru hulls drains from the anchor locker(or water tank overflow drain) is on that model, but you might check the integrity of the thru fittings as some of the older ones crack, dislodge and you could be scooping water thru them when you are far over. Just a thought.
