Interesting.. Looks like it could benefit from an opening top so that when it rains, the rain water collects in the reservoirs as well.

Sounds like another concept design that will probably go nowhere. I'm not sure how the weight distribution of the water would play in the raft's stability and structural integrity. If you want a proven design get a quality life raft and include a manual powered water maker in the ditch bag.
