Anyone know anything about or had experience with the Sea Eagle brand inflatables? I was looking at the 9.6. They are attractively priced - too good to be true? I saw their web site at www.seaeagle.com

Sea Eagles

We used a Sea Eagle 8 as our only dinghy for several years. They are not heavy duty by any means (one step above toy), but they are a good value and a lot of fun. We used two sets of oars on our Sea Eagle and got around fairly well without an engine. We still have one that is kept as a spare in case anything happens to our real dinghy, an Achillies RIB.

Look into Zodiac

Doug, You should also check into Zodiacs. Make sure to do a like comparison. For example same size with a hard plastic floor (not inflatable). I think you'll find that the Zodiac offers much more value including marine grade plywood in the transom (SeaEagle does not) and a five year warrantly (SeaEagle is only three). The price difference is not as great as the quality difference. Good Luck Alan
