How many Macgregor sailors are scotch drinkers? What is your favorite? My personal choice, which is only in my budget a couple of times a year, is Glen Livet 18 yr old, but usually only the 12 yr old stuff. Fair winds and lots of ice!8p4
I am a sales manager for an wine and spirit distributor. My favorite scotch is the one I drink on your boat. But on my boat, we would drink Speyburn. Damn good for a 10yr single malt for under $18.
As a Scotsman living in a Canadian city named after a Scottish town and having ancient relatives in Oban, Scotland - I'm compelled to tipple a dram of Oban when in the mood. Because it is distilled in the harbour at Oban, there is the slightest sea air / salt water / slime covered rocks high note to the beverage that I find goes well at anchor. Richard
