Schafer Furler 2100

Recently replaced the lower SWIVEL on our 2100 system, but having a difficult time replacing the STOP PIN. I went by the manual in replacing the part but can't seem to get the pin back into the TORQUE TUBE. Any suggestions? Thanks for any help with this .

With no more detail, I can only guess at the most likely suspect...did you tie a halyard onto the foil with a rolling hitch and raise it so the pin can clear?

Yes , when I took the unit apart ,I did tie a Halyard onto the foil.Had too many hands helping and the halyard was losened twice,very likely the problem.Thanks for the information.

yeah, call the manufacturer. why are folk always so afraid to do so?
