Schaefer T-Track End Stops

My T-track for the jib sheet car end stops are split so I got new ones from WM. My problem is that the screw won't back out, evev with upward pressure applied. It's like Hunter put nuts on the backside, and they just spin. If that is the case, I may have to remove the headliner below to get at them.

Any suggestions? Thanks, Sinbad

They probably do have nuts underneath. H34's are fastened this way, and I'm glad they are.

On my 2000 410 there are no nuts underneath. You might try contacting Hunter.

Does the screw move down some if you tighten it? Does it suggest there is metal embedded? If yes, your other option is to cut out the screw head and screw the rest of body thread in to the coach roof top. Leave the screw body inside the liner is easier than opening up the liner. Mine doesn't have nut under the track or end stop. Good luck.
