Schaefer furlers

Have any of you had any experience with the installation
and/or use of the Schaefer "Snapfurl" head sail furling
system. On paper the 700 model looks to be just about the
right size for the Vega and easier than most to install.
Any strong recommendations for other systems?

I just did a survey before installing mine. So, this is only a report on features and not experience.It came down to the ReefRite and the Harken for me. ReefRite has some interesting features such as a rachet type drum where you have no tension on the reef line.
I ended up picking the harken because it is one of a few that start furling in the middle first and then the upper and lower attachments second.roy
