SC Coast

We're heading to the SC coast next week w/ our 260. We're planning on putting in around Beaufort or Edisto and heading south to Hilton Head and the GA line. Does anybody have recommnedations for a good ramp to launch from where our truck and trailor would be fairly safe to leave for a week or so? Also, any other points of interest would be appreciated. Plus, the cooler's full - if anyone happens to be in the area, drop by for a beer and some sailing.

Try Beaufort city marina

Try the city marina in downtown Beaufort. There's plenty of parking, well lit areas. Check with the marina manager on-site, he'll give you some pointers.From the Beaufort waterfront, it out the Beaufort River, past Battery Creek and into Broad River. Hilton Head is on the southern side of Broad. There's lots to see in the Low Country, regardless of where you start.
