Drying Cushions
Based on past experience, when the cushions are wet and placed on end the water will gradually travel to a low point where it can be squeezed out like a sponge. Even so, like Peggie says, it takes a LONG time to dry - at least several days if they were wet enough to be able to wring water out. Also, don't use stuff with bleach on the foam.Speaking of weather: Today is "opening day" of the boating season in the Puget Sound. Don't know what the weather is like in the rest of the country but the forcast revised the snow level from 2,000 feet up to 4,000 feet with lows in the upper 30's in some places! When is it EVER going to end!!! This is MAY, isn't it?My haulout was revised from today (to avoid the rain this Saturday afternoon through Monday) to next Tuesday (rain forcasted again for Thursday). Gotta hustle and get all my gear together. Also, one can't trust the forecasters.
