Sanding bottom

Recently while cleaning , sanding bottom of boat for annual bottom paint I bought a sanding pole from home depot , this is a simple tool drywall people use to sand walls, it has a pole and a head that will hold a rectangular of scotch brite or sand paper, it is a fifteen dollar item and sure makes the proecss much easier eleminates a lot of the bending reaching, give it a try, it will be one of the least expensive items you buy for your boat, regards Mike B

Thanks Mike! I've used one too and agree its a help. I've also heard since that one ought to be careful not to sand thru gelcoat, so use very fine paper at most. Dick
