I am in the market for a cruising sailing boat. I have narrowed my
choices to about four different boats, one of which is the Albin Vega
(so far my number one choice). As I currently live in the middle of
the desert it is difficult to get to see the real thing - I have
viewed many photos and read the daily e-mails on the Albin Vega site.
I will be in San Francisco from May 27 until June 1 and was hoping
that an owner in that area may be able to let me see their boat. It
is difficult to get a really good impression from photos alone and I
do not want to have the expense of traveling to the East Coast where
there are boats for sale until after I have seen one. My previous
boat was a Rhodes 22 but I am looking for a boat that I can live on
for a few weeks at a time after I retire in 2005. Would like to spend
time updating the vessel etc. Thank you for any help that you may be
