Just received these really cool photos from San Francisco Fleet Week. They were taken by an aircraft buff but about halfway down the list of photos are some really great shots of a Blue Angel flying about 20ft above water level through the fleet! ) in mid-June. Unfortunately about two weeks prior, #6 crashed and all was lost (I think in the Carolinas). We had planes 1-5 and 7 perform for us. A bit eerie knowing what had happened. They put on a tremendous shown this year. I would have never imagined that those planes could do what they did in their demo!
