I need to replace the Samsons Post - any ideas on where to get the right size? Was a 6"X6" plate with the 3/8" bolts being on 5" centers. Would like to use the same bolt holes if possible.

Really hard to find.

Hope you are successful and will let us H37C owners know. I guess I would call Hunter and see if anyone remembers Sampson posts. Then you might try Sailor's Exchange, the link is below. A favorite place for hardware is Jamestown Distributors(http://www.jamestowndistributors.com/) but it is not in their catalog. Maybe a call on their -800 number. Fortunately my post is still in excellent condition. And not for sale. :)

You may be able to find a new post at Vetus. I know they sell them, but I haven't checked the mounting base size. http://www.vetus.com/index.htm
