I need to replace the Samsons Post - any ideas on where to get the right size? Was a 6"X6" plate with the 3/8" bolts being on 5" centers. Would like to use the same bolt holes if possible.

A favorite place for hardware is Jamestown Distributors(http://www.jamestowndistributors.com/) but it is not in their catalog. Maybe a call on their -800 number. Fortunately my post is still in excellent condition. And not for sale.

BUILD ONE OF YOUR OWN I DID.I BUILT FOUR AND PUT TWO MID SHIP AND TWO BESIDE THE ANCHOR LOCKER AND LEFT THE ONE THAT CAME WITH THE BOAT.THIS ONE WAS TO SMALL ANYWAY YOU CAN BUILD IT OUT OF SS FLAT BAR,SS PIPE,SS ROUND STOCK AND GET ANY WELDING SHOP TO WELD IT TOGETHER.
