Thank you, Sam
Sam, those were exactly the measurements that I needed! What I have done before, and am doing again, is buying some of those cushions that are made for the tops of Igloo Coolers. Some years ago, I came to the realization that they are made in many sizes (although these sizes are changed as often as the cooler models), and that there are sizes that fit the H33 seats, almost perfectly. I do have two of those Sportaseats that have a ratchet inside and are quite pricey. They, too, look as if they were specifically designed for the bench seats on the H33....they fit perfectly, which is very nice (I also used to have Igloos cushions for those bench seats....lasted about five years under fairy heavy use). But, I need a cushion for the helmsman's seat, and there are two candidates with slightly differing sizes, hence my first question. Additionally, when cruising, I stow six jerry jugs in the cockpit well, three rows, two abreast..it helps to be singlehanding or doublehanding!!! There is a particular model of jug made by Sceptre, that have flat tops and fit very well, when wedged with a cushion. These jugs carry diesel. But, they also make a perfect filler for the cockpit well, and with cushions on top make the whole thing into something of a level bed or platform. In the Sea of Cortez, where it is very hot, I have found this to be quite a comfortable arrangement, but I have never gotten the cushions to quite the point I wanted. Hence, the cockpit well measurement! I would imagine that I will take many a snooze in that spot while in the South Pacific. For what it is worth, the Igloo cushions are a pretty good value. Because Igloo makes special coolers for each of West Marine and Boat US, in addition to their regular coolers, you will often find different sizes in the catalogs and stores of those two outfits. Boat US has generally been a slightly better source for me, but that may be because of the specific models carried at the specific times I was interested.I also get an industry discount at either store, which influences my enthusiasm. The cushions themselves are of average quality with regard to the foam, but of quite good quality regarding the covers. In fact, the covers are very nicely done, with good vinyl, and good closures that allow you to remove the foam, if necessary. Some of them have either snaps or velcro to hold them in place, which might appeal to some. In my old cushions, I eventually replaced the foam before the covers wore out. The new model of covers look even better, by the way, and are finished with either a white or black piping. I suppose their value is the result of mass production, but most of the cushions for the H33 are in the $20 - $40 range, less with my discount.....too good a deal to pass up. I think owners of all the Cherubinis could probably find something that would fit from Igloo. We are helped by the fact that our seats are all basically rectangles. I doubt that the newer Hunters would find much that they could use...Oh well

Thanks again for your help. Congratulations, in advance, on making your own, by the way. I admire your industry, and I am sure that your personal touch will exceed that given by Igloo! And, I envy you for that sewing machine.Good luck with the epoxy. For what it is worth, my depthsounder and paddle wheel mount were installed by the factory, and have worked very well, for all these years. They are Datamarine Corinthians. The depthsounder is under the galley module, more or less under the port forward edge of the sink, and the paddle wheel is on the port side of the keel sump, about halfway between the aftermost pair of keelbolts and the single bolt aft of them.
