Was watching something on the Speed channel couple of days ago. They had something they were using to get the winter salt off a car. It was a commercial product and was, at least according to them, some wonderful stuff for removing the salt. Spray on, rinse off. Harmless to metals, rubber, paint, and any thing on the car. Any of you far north guys know what this is, and where to get it. Should be good for washing boats that operate in salt water.

5% Sulfamic acid

Keep it away from galvanized metal, zinc and copper. Sulfamic is also used to clean boiler scale, masonry/grout, etc.

Nacl dissolves readily in hot water. I don't know that anything else is going to

I can imagine the instructions," dissolve 1 ounce of saltaway in five gallons of very hot water........................................"

Leave the salt alone and maybe it will evaporate. ;)
