I used to have a Shamrock power boat that was powered by a straight inboard. I religiously flushed it with salt away. I also used it to spray the boat trailer down after use. The product definitely kept the trailer looking nice. I'm sure it prolonged the internal of the engine as well. Easier to see the results of the trailer since it can be visually observed.

I run it through the outboard, Yanmar, generator, AC and head each season after the boat is hauled. I think it makes a difference. I just use a 5 gallon pail. I have tried it in a sprayer on the deck, Bimini etc. and it does a good job there. Cost effective if you have to pay for the fresh water.

I full time cruise, last time the system was cleaned was 3 years ago when the tube stacks were pulled and cleaned. Thats been it.

I'll be dumping the old coolant soon and refreshing that and need to look at the raw water side.
