hi everyone,
Well, we sold our freedom 30 so now it's time to get serious....would you 310 owners tell me more about the salon? How many can it seat comfortably? The settees look small especially on the starboard side.

We have had 4 for dinner without issue. We took out the stock table. We use a folding table for events like that. We also built a custom table with draws on our bulk head.

We have had 8 hanging out below. And 12 in the cockpit. Outside is definitely more comfortable for over 6. We will have 5 tonight to watch game of thrones. So you can fit a few people below. You do sacrifice salon space for the forward berth. Most people we have aboard are very jealous of the forward berth, even some catamaran people.

We anchored out for a pot luck BBQ last Friday evening. 10 adults. We were worried it would be a tight fit, but it all worked out quite well, although most folks sat in the cockpit. Live music provided by Los Lobos (at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk).... Beautiful evening!!

Every boat is tons of compromises. I'm obviously biased, but I think the 310 is a great design and layout, especially for a single couple.
