Hi All,

On our 426DS the salon table is supposed to lower so that you can use the supplied filler cushions to turn it into another berth. When we attempt to do this we find that the table does not go down far enough and there is a significant offset between the table and the setee around it. Does anybody know what we're doing wrong?

thanks.

Brian, I am not certain if you have the same table as ours but I find the same thing. The table top will drop down (spring loaded) until the bottom of the table top is at the same level as the seats leaving the top about an inch or so higher. I believe the cushions that go on top of the table are cut a bit thinner to make up for this difference.

That's the way it's supposed to work. Non-intuitive, but that's what my dealer told me when I bought my 44DS back in 2004.

On our 2005 38 the problem we had was the table was not completely set onto the posts.
After we did that it was flush
Good luck

don't blame it on yourself, we have the same problem and a friend of mine has it too on his 44 DS.
I fixed it by putting a camping queen size air bed on top of the table. I don't have to store that big table cushion anymore, just a sheet to protect the table from scratches. the camping mattress will absorb the height difference.

the table on my 410 goes the way down and sits on the lip of the sette frame, so it must just vary from model to model on how it works
