Pearson P30 202 Ottawa/Gatineau
Hello everyone, thinking about redoing my salon table on my Pearson 30.
It works wellish but is very heavy and the wife finds it hard to put it up or take down, it folds in half to make it a bigger table.
If you have any ideas, please let me know

If you like the table but need to shed some weight you might want to construct a new one using foam or honeycomb panels. I have used the honeycomb paneling for a lot of different projects around our boat over time. You will get to become familiar with epoxy work, also.
Finding a 'deal' will take some research, tho. I bought up a lot of misc-sized pieces from the former Boeing Surplus outlet up by Seattle.... when it was 50 cents a pound... !
Foam core panels will be cheaper, IMHO.
