reference is most likely damage to the table's finish coat. I would contact Hunter Marine to find out what they used, but it is probably lacquer based, a very durable plastic coating.It is an easy repair. If it is lacquer you will need to sand the finish until you get below the discoloration, which may mean bare wood. You can get lacquer in a spray can from most home improvement stores, like Home Depot. Prepare the surface around the sanded area by using a furniture cleaner to remove any waxes, oils, dirt, etc. Then spray on several light coats (seven to ten) of lacquer on and around the damaged spot. Lacquer is fast drying as long as the environment is dry and warm. Check the surface for nibs (specks of dust) before applying succeeding coats. If you feel any use a 320 grit sandpaper to remove them before the next coat. I think you will be pleased with the outcome.Terry
