To help determine if standing water is from inside/deck leak or underwater fitting I picked up one of these salinity testers for my onboard toolbox. I don’t want to taste bilge water. :frown: I don't know why I didn't think of this sooner. Inexpensive, and easy to use.

It seems to work as advertised in my first tests. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08GC7JCV3?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

I would think this would be more accurate than strips, and you could use it for a variety of things, like checking your watermaker or figuring out if you're in brackish water in a river.
